   Bibletime Ministries, Inc. (BMI) is a non-profit religious corporation created in 1981 to enable us to engage in the ministry God led us into in the summer of 1980 -- a rich and varied ministry to the body of Christ.
   I started publishing “The Scribe” in June 1992. I have written several things, such as “How to Handle Guilt,” which I have taught and self- published. I want to do much more writing, if I can find the time.
   Since I am now 81 years old, I realize I don’t have that much time left for active ministry. Writing and this web site are things I can do even when I am no longer able to travel. So I am focusing on them more and more.

Ed Houk - Chaplain

  Ed is Chaplain at the Centerville Healthcare Center. He preaches, ministers, and fund raises for any one in need in Leon County. Ed is also a valued member of the First Baptist Church of Centerville, and a wonderful voice in our choir.

  On April 10 The Centerville Healthcare Center held a garage sale & yummy bake sale from 8:00 to 4:00 PM. Helpers for the sale were Ed & Joyce Houk, Robbie Ferguson, Dorothy Whiting, Barbara Dixon and her daugher Eileen. Proceeds support the residents. Over $910 of donated merchandise was sold. 100% went to the residents fund for an iron see thru fence to replace the old solid wood fence so the residents will have a view when they sit on their patio.
